Maker Faires are large public events where people gather to engage in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics). Check out the official website to find a Maker Faire near you where you can witness the future in action, or sign up to be a Maker.

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is an international network for women in engineering that provides support and funding for the professional advancement of women and for STEM outreach initiatives. The organization also offers scholarships for female engineering students.

SWENext is the division of SWE that offers resources, information, contests, and weekly newsletters to girls aged 13 to 18. This free-to-join program is great for middle school and high school students looking to get involved in engineering.
