The Atlanta Maker Faire is an annual expo where engineers, artists, and other "makers" gather to showcase their work and run hands-on activities for the general public. The booth "Nano Nail Polish," where kids could learn about nanotechnology by doing a craft, was part of the Branching Out: Girls in STEM initiative.

The club also ran a second "Girls Do Science" program at the library, this time focusing on earth science.
